Bonjour,
j'aimerais connaitre les avantages/inconvénients à utiliser le nouveau shutter EF sur le X-T3 ?
Pour l'utilisation du shutter électronique ES, je connais les limitations même si néanmoins, je l'utilise beaucoup en connaissance de cause car vraiment très pratique chez moi où la luminosité est telle qu'il devient obligatoire si on veut ouvrir en grand... mais je ne connais par contre pas les inconvénients éventuels du shutter EF... ou ce qu'il apporte en plus !

Sauf erreur, ou oubli , il me semble qu'il y a ces inconvénients :
- Lorsque le ou des sujets ou objets se déplacent rapidement ( hélices par exemple)
ou lors d'une prise de vue panoramique, il peut y avoir sur le cliché, des effets de "rolling shutter"
- Possible effets de bandes sous certains éclairages artificiels
- Non compatible avec l'utilisation du flash, lorsque EF seul.

"In addition to the regular Mechanical and Electronic Shutters, the X-T3 has a brand new shutter, called EF, which stands for Electronic Front Curtain Shutter. Originally introduced on the GFX and also used in the X-H1, this mode is designed to reduce “shutter shake,” and reduce blackout time.
With the EF, the camera starts the exposure by using the Electronic Shutter, then finishes it by manual closing the Mechanical Shutter. This means you’ll get less chance for vibration when using slower shutter speeds, and it reduces the lag between when you press the shutter button and when the camera starts making the exposure.
So, when you combine all of the possible shutter types, you end up with 5 different options the X-T3:
MS – 1/8000 sec. max, all the way down to 15 minutes.
ES – 1/32,000 sec. max, all the way down to 15 minutes
EF- 1/8000 sec. max, all the way down to 15 minutes. Recommended max for best image quality is no faster than 1/2000 sec.
M+E – MS up to 1/8000 sec., ES above 1/8000 sec.
EF+MS – EF up to 1/2000 sec., MS above 1/2000 sec.
EF+M+E – EF up to 1/2000 sec., MS above 1/2000 sec., ES above 1/8000 sec"
Il semble aussi que dans ce mode il y ait une baisse de qualité du bokeh si j'en crois ce témoignage:
"There may be other differences but the quality of the bokeh at high shutter speed is worse using EF than MS and ES at the same shutter speed.
You can see the effect here with the camera manually focussed, on a tripod and the only difference being the shutter type."

Je ne suis pas vraiment intéressé à ce mode, mais on dirait qu'il s'agit d'un mode plutôt réservé aux prises de vue en vitesse lente.

Merci ! Donc ça parait plutôt avantageux temps que l'on atteint pas des vitesses de fermeture trop rapides, et ça tombe bien puisque Fuji offre la possibilité de changement auto avec retour au shutter méca à partir de 1/2000s.
