Fuji (merci à eux) m'ont permis de tester ce samedi ce boitier accompagné des nouveaux 55mm F1.7 et du TS-30mm F5.6.
Je me suis bien amusé, en particulier avec le TS qui permet d'obtenir de très très beaux flous.

Ver.1.10

The firmware update Ver.1.10 from Ver.1.00/1.03 incorporates the following issues:

*Ver.1.10 fixes the following six problems.

1. Black border appears on the left side of the image when making RAW output from DCI-8K movie (ex. Monitor output with “ATOMOS”, “Blackmagic Design”, etc.).
     Note: The above border will be recorded on the movie.

2. EVF display rarely becomes abnormal at continuous shooting under the following condition.
   ・EVF SETTING IN BOOST MODE：EVF FRAME RATE PRIORITY (120P)

3. RAW images taken with GFX100 II may not be able to be developed depending on the development software.

4. While continuous shooting, camera cannot turn off the power or freeze depending on the following shooting conditions.

     (1) Conditions to cannot turn off the power
     Shutter speed changes from faster than 1/4000 second to slower than 1/4000 second with the following settings.
   ・SHUTTER TYPE：M+E
   ・Continuous shooting mode：HIGH SPEED BURST
   ・Focus Mode：AF-C
   ・SHUTTER AE：OFF

     (2) Conditions to freeze
     Shutter speed changes from slower than 1/4000 second to faster than 1/4000 second with the following settings.
   ・SHUTTER TYPE：M+E
   ・Continuous shooting mode：HIGH SPEED BURST
   ・Focus Mode：AF-C
   ・SHUTTER AE：OFF

5. The image display on EVF, LCD or external monitor through HDMI seems abnormal under certain conditions.

6. Other minor bugs

The firmware update Ver.1.20 from Ver.1.11 incorporates the following issues:

Regarding the details of No.1, download the “GFX100 II New Features Guide［Ver.1.20]” from our website.

1. A "MULTI" button is added to the "Remote Rec Function" menu. Pressing this button splits the screen display into four sections, allowing you to watch Live Views of multiple cameras simultaneously and pressing the “SINGLE” button bring back to the single screen display.

2. A "Clean display mode" is added to the "Remote Rec Function" menu. When "Clean display mode" is selected, only the Live View is displayed.

3. Other minor bugs are fixed.

1. Supports camera linkage enhanced in "FUJIFILM XApp" Ver. 2.0.0 or later.

   1)Camera linkage enhancement by “Equipment” tab, with “FUJIFILM XApp”, Ver.2.0.0 or later, will be available for GFX100 II now.

   ［Camera data to be displayed in the “Equipment” tab in the “FUJIFILM XApp”］
   ・Number of lifetime shots
   ・MECHANICAL SHUTTER
   ・BATTERY AGE
   ・Number of days since the last sensor cleaning
   etc.

   2)Camera firmware upgrade process becomes easier.

   The “FUJIFILM XApp” automatically downloads and transfer the revised firmware to the memory card in the camera in the background, so that you can upgrade the firmware anytime.

   Note-1: Background data transfer is performed while the camera and “FUJIFILM XApp” are connected via Wi-Fi.
   Note-2: Once the revised firmware is automatically downloaded, the firmware update information is displayed on the LCD, prompting the operator to update to the latest firmware.
   Note-3: This feature will be available from the next firmware update.

2. “FIRMWARE UPDATE” function has been added to the setup menu.

   Insert a memory card containing the new firmware into the camera and select “USER SETTING” in the “SET UP” menu to update the firmware.

   The current procedure for firmware update can also continue to be used as follows.

1. AF performance is improved as follows.

1)AF tracking start speed gets faster at “Burst” mode under the following conditions.
　・SHUTTER AF：OFF
　・Operation: “AF-ON” button ON + simultaneous release
2)A firmware bug is fixed that the AF focusing accuracy and distance indicator varied when using a wide-angle lens.


2. Wi-Fi connection performance is improved, so that the usability for the communication functions becomes more comfortable, such as Frame.io.


3. A firmware bug is fixed that the area settings in some regions are not automatically updated when connecting the camera to the “FUJIFILM XApp” to synchronize time.

Note：FUJIFILM XApp, Ver.2.0.3, for iOS & Android are now available


4. A firmware bug is fixed that the preview image freeze when pressing S1 under the following setting conditions.

・SETUP MENU＞POWER MANAGEMENT＞PERFORMANCE＞BOOST＞EVF FRAME RATE PRIORITY

Ver.2.20

The firmware update Ver.2.20 from Ver.2.10 incorporates the following issues:

1. The operability of the “Focus ring” is improved when using the following applicable lens.

    1) Applicable lens (*1)
・GF55mmF1.7 R WR

    2)Improved items (*2)
・Lens vibration at zooming using the “Focus ring” is reduced.
・Focus tracking when operating the focus ring is improved.
・Focus ring rotation angle is optimized for movie taking.



    *1：Lens firmware update is required to enable the above improvements. Be sure to update the camera firmware to the latest version before updating the lens firmware.

・GF55mmF1.7 R WR firmware update



    *2：“FOCUS RING OPERATION” must be set to “LINEAR” to enable these improvements. Be aware that these improvements will not be enabled when “NONLINEAR” is selected.

2. A firmware bug is fixed that the minor noise sometimes appears on the image depending on the subject when RAW images were processed by image processing software to emphasize image quality-related corrections.



3. A firmware bug is fixed that the false coloration on the edges of text in rare cases when shooting the fine text, such as a text chart and enlarging this text for display.

Ver.2.21

The firmware update Ver.2.21 from Ver.2.20 incorporates the following issues:

1.   When the GF50mm/GF35-70mm lens is attached to the camera body and the lens firmware is updated, in rare cases, "LENS ERROR" occurs during the firmware update and the lens stops moving. This revised firmware automatically quits the update to prevent the lens from malfunctioning when detecting the updating error.

    Note-1：To enable the above fix, update the camera's firmware to the latest version before updating the lens firmware.
    Note-2：The firmware download for GF50mmF3.5 R LM WR and GF35-70mmF4.5-5.6 WR will be available after this firmware is released.
    Note-3：For details, refer to the "FUJINON LENS GF50mmF3.5 R LM WR & GF35-70mmF4.5-5.6 WR firmware download resumption"


2.    When the shutter button is half-pressed at the same time as the "AF ILLUMINATOR" light metering operation, the camera freezes in rare cases.


3.    The camera freezes in rare cases while recording movie with an external monitor connected under the following conditions.

    ・MOVIE MODE：4K 16：9/59.94P
    ・MEDIA REC SETTING：H.264/422 MOV
    ・IS MODE (MOVIE)：IBIS/OIS+DIS
    ・HDMI OUTPUT SETTING：HDMI OUTPUT INFO DISPLAY ON


4.    Image stabilization does not work in rare cases when shooting movies with GF45-100mmF4 R LM OIS WR attached.

1. “F-Log2 C” has been added to the movie shooting menu.
You can get more wider color gamut using “F-Log2 C” mode than using “F-Log2”.
The expanded color gamut allows for the reproduction of high chroma colors that was difficult to reproduce with “F-Log2” and expands the color editable range in ACES space and BT.709.

2. “TIME CODE SYNC. SETTING” can now be synchronized with the time code of USB devices.

This makes it easy to synchronize multiple movie clips at post-production during multi-camera shooting or separate audio recording. Moreover, “CONNECT TO ATOMOS AirGlu BT” in the Quick menu and function buttons assignment menu is changed to “TIME CODE SYNC.SETTING”.

Note：In addition to the Bluetooth connection with “Atomos UltraSync Blue”, “TIME CODE SYNC” via USB-C connection with Ambient devices is now available.


3. The AF algorithm has been partially revised to improve focusing accuracy and subject tracking performance.


4. A firmware bug is fixed that the focus position is shifted when turning the camera off and on after focusing with manual focus.
